Paper-Made Typography

Beautiful, intricate paper artwork by Yulia Brodskaya.

Notes from the artist’s bio:

I was born in Russia where I started out as a fine artist producing contemporary office decoration artwork for Moscow based companies while studying for my first degree in Graphic Design. In 2004 I moved to London, earned my M.A. in Graphic Communication and since then have been busy with parallel careers as an illustrator and a freelance graphic designer.

It’s fantastic and supercool. Can you tell me what other substitute can be used, since where I live people don’t know about that paper?

Mumu, I don’t know what type of paper is being used. If just normal color sheets or other. You can attempt to contact Yulia via her website to find out.

    It’s paper quilling. Awesome :D

    >>Mumu, you can buy the paper in a box set or by itself already cut into strips like that.

In this age of digital art, the artist’s creations stand out. It’s art-forward using conventional ideas and subjecting them to unconventional methods. Looking at every creation inspires me to know that art heals the tired human soul.

Amazing what you can do with paper. Not only has the paper been crafted so artistically but the photography is also perfect. It is showing the artist’s effort in full detail.

As for the paper craft … it is simply mind blowing
