Artwork made from diverse product labels by Troy Dugas.
Top and bottom: “9,” various product labels on paper, 59 x 59″.
Notes from the artist:
My work is made from product labels I purchase in unused bundles. I cut and arrange this material onto flat surfaces (paper, canvas, or wood) to produce artworks that appear woven. I use repetition and pattern to distract from the original purpose of the label to sell a product. The artwork itself is the only product left to sell.

Top: “Jacob,” champagne labels on canvas, 30 x 30″.

“Sun Salutation,” various labels on paper, 50 x 38″.

“St. Jerome,” vintage french liquor labels on paper, 59 x 59″.

“Salmon Decagon,” various product labels on paper / 59 x 59″.
