There is always someone out there using a different everyday life material to create art with. Illustrator Monica Hernandez stains paper bags with coffee, and once dried draws over them. Hernandez uses recycled bags found on the streets of New York City, and her work is a statement about society’s constant waste of natural resources as well as environmental pollution.
