Illustrator Ryan Humphrey calls his expressive coloring style, “Painting with Pencils.” The majority of his work consists of Moleskine drawings of human figures based “from vast amount of second hand imagery. After I select images from different locations and eras, I go about ‘forming’ my own scenario, which is an alchemical and tentative process,” [1] he states.
