Bizarre Ceramic Art

It looks like vases with robotic-octopus feet coming out of the bottom or some type of grass lawn mower wrapped around it. It is artistic and strange, definitely unique ceramic art by Brendan Lee Satish Tang.
Notes about the artist (from bio):
Brendan Tang was born in Dublin, Ireland of Trinidadian parents, and is a naturalized citizen of Canada. His education includes the Master of Fine Arts degree from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, and the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Nova Scotia College of Art and Design.
