    Bajs Niklas (lovely name) I doubt the tree will take much damage from that. That probably protects the tree more than makes it suffer. Besides, that knitted pattern probably can expand alot and I doubt the tree will grow so fast and that that thing will be there for so long (seriously, i doubt it will hold longer than 5 years) that the growing will actually notice anything.

    Women obviously have too much free time nowadays. They should take better care of their familes instead. If they really like to knit they could make something nice for their husbands and kids and leave the trees alone.
