Organizing Book Shelves by Color

A dream come true for any graphic designer is: Enter a book shop and all books are organized by color. Wow! It wouldn’t be functional to find a book, but it would be very interesting to view them all on display.
The collection is an art installation entitled “There is Nothing Wrong in this Whole Wide World,” by Chris Cobb, showcased at Adobe Books San Francisco. Photos taken by Barak Yedida.
Notes from Chris Cobb:
Adobe Book Shop in San Francisco has agreed to allow it’s estimated 20,000 books to be be reclassified by color. Shifting from red to orange to yellow to green, the books will follow the color spectrum continuously, changing Adobe from a neighborhood bookshop into a magical library—but only for one week.
