Product designers Hyoungmin Park and Jeongmin Lee have created a tape roll with realistic looking hinges on it. It looks pretty interesting on a box.

Captain ObviousYou’re doing it wrong. It’s not meant to seal the box. You’re supposed to put it on the bend or fold of the box lid or envelope. Duh!!
The lacing, zipper, stiches & nail idea above would be better suited for sealing the box.
