Design studio Cuatro Cuatros has developed home decor items that were based on well-known visual illusions such as the Penrose Triangle, the Cafe Wall, and few others.

Top: “90°” is a vase that depending on the point of view, both ends coincide and look like a closed object.

“180º” is book shelf unit. Its horizontal structure looks crooked, but in reality it is straight. The positioning of the box casings create the perception that nothing is aligned. This furniture piece was inspired by the “Cafe Wall Illusion.”

“0º” is a carpet with black and white lines that don’t look parallel to each other. The design was mirrored from a 1860′s visual illusion by Zollner.
