    riding a bike has never been more awesome.

    left turns only and you have to be very light weight.

    I guess you can turn right… the front fork swings out to the left side of the bike to allow the wheel clearance.

    Very clever and eye catching design…..I wonder how practical it is

    It’s a pain pedaling those 1-speeders. Also, where are the brakes?

    Probably is a Fixed-gear bicycle meaning you slow down by “pedaling backwards”. Would also permit to go backwards, a must on a phantom bike!

    I wish I had gone o design school.

    Very cool bike.

    you people are retarded, first of all it can turn right, the same way it turns left, just because the lever is on the left doesn’t mean it can only turn left, that much is obvious just by glancing at it, and secondly, for the people who made a comment about it being a ‘one speed’ or ‘where are the breaks’ first of all both those things have nothing to do with the front wheel design which is what the purpose was. And its a classic beach cruiser design by inspiration (obviously) so it should be a one speed, and you brake by peddling backwards

    @Jo
    You make it sound like you know what your talking about when it comes to bikes but then you finish off with “where are the brakes?”. If you really knew what you were talking about you would know that most single speed hubs (as long as they are not cassette type single speed) especially with the big hub have a pedal brake. When the cranks are rotated backward shoes in the rear hub are engaged causing the bike to brake. These were quite common 15 or more years ago. If you truly know that it is a pain in the ass to pedal a single speed you should have known this already

    by the way that is a neat white bike useless but neat

    Actually it looks like it turns left and right just fine!

    Such a gorgeous design. I’d like to see something like this actually go into production.

    They’re called coaster brakes.
    From the vid it appears you could use any kind of drive system from the single speed up to whatever the max is today.
    I think the only real issue with the design is just that long front piece – it’s going to flex and bend as you hit bumps and I think it might be a place for the system to fail.
    Very cool looking design.

    While I know little about how bikes work, lol, I love this design. But personally, I think it would look a little cleaner and better, if it had the bar lever on the left AND right of the front wheel–creating a symmetrical balance. Plus, it’d prolly add support.

    But yeah, Bad ass.
