Illusion is an arts magazine founded by Scene360 nonprofit organization, that focuses on giving a refined and innovative take on the world’s most unusual and striking artistic creations. It is the 2015 Webby Award winner for “Best Art Website,” a Pixel Awards winner for Best Art and People’s Choice, an A’ Design Platinum winner for Digital and Broadcast Media, and a SXSW finalist. The Guardian has highlighted it as “Internet Pick of the Week.”
The website receives over 7 million annual visitors and has 5 Million followers on Google+, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. The majority of viewers are from the United States, Canada, United Kingdom and Australia.
This online magazine publishes an estimate of 40 posts per month. The content is targeted to visual arts enthusiasts as well as professional artists, photographers, tattooers, designers (fashion, graphic, product, industrial, web technology…), filmmakers, CG animators and more.

Tattooer Rit Kit used to be known only in the Ukraine. She opened an Instagram account and after some months had 4,500 followers. In April of 2016 she gets featured for the first time on Illusion—an article showcasing her creative process of using real plants as basis for tattooing—i.e. “dipping live leaves in tattoo stencil ink, pressing them directly on her customers’ bodies.” The publication ends up going viral—Kit’s following booms to 30,000 in just a week and her #LiveLeafTattoos spread like wildfire on The Huffington Post, Mashable, Cosmopolitan and fifty other publications.
