Offering $1000 worth of MailChimp E-Newsletter Credits!

mailchimp_590

DEADLINE: January 26th, 2010

We’ve been partnered up with MailChimp for about three years, and we’re very happy with their service. Their email newsletters are easy to setup, the administrative interface is simple and functional, there has been no security problems, and above all, their customer service is outstanding! It would be pointless if we kept this all to ourselves? So, by entering this give-away, four (4) lucky readers will each win 50,000 MailChimp Email-Newsletter credits–$250.00 (USD) per prize. If you win, you can setup mailing lists and easily promote your site or business via email.

Winners: Angela Guerra, Pierre Oleo, Mark Wasserman, and Ronen Bekerman.

MailChimp Explains What They Do?
We make it easy to send email newsletters to your customers, manage your subscriber lists, and track campaign performance. Unlike some of our competitors, we don’t “dumb things down.” We take extremely powerful tools that sophisticated marketers use (like segmentation, a/b testing, and ROI tracking), and we make them accessible to anyone. And because our platform uses an open API, it’s easy to integrate internal systems (like Salesforce) and web applications (like Magento and Drupal) with our email marketing engine. That’s why over 185,000 users, who range from small 1-person startups to Fortune 500 corporations use MailChimp.

I work for a small emerging non-profit in Chattanooga, TN that exists to care for, support and encourage other youth workers in the region that are investing in adolescents. Beginning January 1, we will be doing an expansive overhaul of how we communicate with hopes of increasing our online footprint substantially in hopes that we might provide support to even more youth workers around the globe. Mail Chimp is one THE primary ways we hope to connect with our target audience. Since our work is 100% donor based we watch our bottom line closely and to win this would be a massive boost to the work we do caring ultimately for literally 1000’s of teenagers in the southeast throughout Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama and Florida. Thanks for the opportunity!

Oh man.. I Stumbled (upon) to this site.. and it blew me away, then I happened upon the very thing that has me up so late (a email newsletter system that doesn’t suck) and now I have the chance to win enough credit to give it a real go…. So how much do I want this? Perhaps a poem can express my desires.

Illusion360 is like that last sip that gets you tipsy, and appreciating the finer things in life.

The optical illusions are like an inspiration contusion and the creativity is dripping of my chin.

To the judges and chimps and email pimps my compliments on that which you’ve made.. now give me that chance to get this in my hands and make email marketing my new thing.

    Cam :)

I fell off my chair when I saw the wonderful prize… MailChimp is THE state-of-the art email program. I love using it ‘cos it’s sooooooo easy and intuitive. And my clients love the results! MailChimp makes everyone a winner. (I hope I win this competition too… ) :-)

I would love to win this prize! Currently I manage 1200+ e-mails for my local non-profit community centre and we are using PHPList to send out all e-newsletters. At present we send out a newsletter with community events biweekly and sporadically whenever there is a special announcement.

I really want to switch to a professional paid service and MailChimp looks like a great service.

Thank you in advance for your consideration.

    Yet another non-profit here!

You can learn a lot about us at http://www.ishafoundation.org. We do send out monthly newsletters to several thousand people & would definitely like to try mailchimp for one of these campaigns :)

    Warm Regards,

    Hi,

I’m just getting started as a website desiger and hosting provider. It would rock if I could win MailChimp points to launch an email campaign and promote my business. I love MailChimp!

Me and my friend from New York started our own blog about 6 months ago and we really like it alot, the only problem is that promoting by social sites doesn’t work that well. So please check our blog for yourself and decide if we deserve to be 1 out of 4 lucky winners.

By the way im really starting to like illusion 360 you guys got some interesting stuff up in here. Keep it up.

I need an email marketing tool because I’m not getting enough interest through flickr alone. I know now what it means to be a “starving artist.”

I would love to save postage on advertising…while postcards are great and I still love snail mail I can’t live without email. I’m sure many of my (potential) clients feel the same way!

I will be very happy to use mailchimp on a local news website

Awright, this is an embarrassing story, but true. I was sitting at home trying to figure out how I was going to tell people that I am changing from a static site, to a more dynamic site and I had started compiling every email addy I had when all of a sudden aliens crashed into my living room and froze me in spot so that I was unable to send out the mass email. They said that I had a few choices in order to survive, much less send out my mass email.

Choice one: Resist, and they would transport me to their ship and force me to sing the barney theme song for the rest of my life(which they promised me they would make sure to extend by about 100 years, alien technology, pretty amazing.)

Choice two: Enter a contest where I have the chance to use a bad ass monkey to send people the things I want. Not as exciting as Choice One, but a lot more beneficial to my super small, haven’t landed a paying gig yet, graphic design business.

I chose option two, and deleted the mass email. The aliens unfroze me, and promised that if I EVER attempted to mass email me again, I wouldn’t have choice two.

Thanks for your time, and fantastic blog, it’s a great inspiration.

I agree that MailChimp is an exceptional product. I just started using it but I’m impressed with the depth of their product offering and the resources they offer.

How much do I want to win this competition?

Mailchimp is so sexy it makes me want to sleep with an ape. And that’s plain weird.

So please, throw the prize in my direction so I don’t have to embarrass myself with weird human/chimp offspring that love emails :)

  15. on Jan 20, 2010 at 3:58 pm Fre

I would go BANANAS! if i won this contest.

  16. on Jan 20, 2010 at 4:03 pm Andrew Stone

This would be amazing for me. I use email regularly to send information in my real estate business and this would go a long way to establishing a real presence with my new branding.

  17. on Jan 20, 2010 at 4:05 pm Aaron

We use it at work and love it!

I’m a Children’s book illustrator who would love to jumpstart my promotion/ marketing efforts this year via an e-newsletter instead of snail mail. I know other artists have used mailchimp with great results and ease of use. I’ve attended the mailchimp webinars and love they try to educate their users. If I win this it will definitely push me to set it up and get it going asap!

  19. on Jan 20, 2010 at 4:05 pm jonknep

This would be great to take home the prize! I’m a newly emerging freelance blogger/small biz marketing consultant so this could increase my online marketing budget tenfold.

At any rate, I’ve loved the Chimp for quite some time (even though I was always just one minute too late for a handful of the mini-shirt giveaways on twitter). Even if I don’t win this helped remind me to sign up for MailChimp because it’s been on my to-do list.
Oh and thanks illusion 360. You get a big Chuck Norris Thumbs up. I thought it would be nice to mention you since your running the promo.

  20. on Jan 20, 2010 at 4:08 pm Hector Lee

It would be great to be able to add a mailing list to my new site.

    Hi folks.
I ‘m a mac developer working on some personal & more corporate mac applications. I work with pretty talented developers & designers on these projects but we have pretty hard times in terms of mailing lists and press management.
    - Luckily – I’m not the one in charge of this on the corporate projects, most of them have turned insane and you can hear them scream at night “Why don’t you display properly in Outlook… whyyy”, “Damn you spam filter, what did I do to upset you” … pretty frightening!

I will soon release one (and more later) mac application and will have to deal with this trouble so please Scene 360, don’t let me turn insane due to email incompatibilities and Spam problems, Mailchimp is the cure!

    Thanks

We have been using MailChimp for a little over a year and a half now. We absolutely love their services, their internal Chimps :) and how much response we have gotten back from our campaigns.

As a creative marketing group, we offer our clients an abundant amount of services to fit each and every business. MailChimp has certainly made it simple to recommend their services to our clients who are looking for a wonderful, easy to learn/use web application for great email campaigns.

MailChimp is wonderful and I believe our monthly eNewsletter definitely shows it!

I like Mailchimp a lot! Their banana humour and outstanding tool put everytime i use Mailchimp a smile on my face! And my customers are even more happy. They get the attention from their customers they want. That’s why i will use mailchimp even as a paid service!

    Go Chimp, Go!

  26. on Jan 20, 2010 at 9:08 pm TheDadList

Yes, I’d absolutely love to win the contest, but I’ll always happily be a MailChimp client. One of the main parts of our business is sending out newsletters, and after seeing all the rave reviews of MailChimp, I’ve been very happy with them. It’s much more than functional, it truly is fun to use.

I admit: I found out about this site through MailChimp’s Twitter announcement and I’m glad I did come! I’m a freelance designer and I’m constantly looking for web sites that fuels my creative juice and boy did I discover one! This blog site was just added to the list of feeds I’m subscribed to! And of course, I do wish to win this giveaway as MailChimp is simply the best tool of it’s kind… Eep! Eep!

Oh, I would very much like to win this prize.
After a 5-month long sick-leave I am now entering the job-market again, this time as self-employed working with digital marketing and social media strategy.
A bunch of mailchimp-credits would really help me hit the ground running. Take care.
