A New Music Sampling Instrument
OTTO is a new musical instrument for real-time manual beat-slicing; developed by Luca De Rosso. It is a technique that allows to create complex and diverse rhythm sections, by inserting one audio sample which is then cut into little sample pieces for rearrangement and sound playing.
A video by Luca De Rosso, Silvia Sartori, and Daniele Tonon. Music by Luca De Rosso and Daniele Tonon.
