I could chit out better.
Definitely digging the last one.
The ones that you made by laying them sideways to dry have been done already, so they don’t wow me. And the first two would be cooler if they weren’t such an unappealing color.
But it’s a cool idea overall.
These are pretty amazing pieces, though I might respond better to them had the artist’s concept and purpose been included in this article.
As a side to those who imply that they could do better or relay that this particular method has been “done”, you’re missing the point, clearly. Art is not about “new” or “never been done”, it’s about expression; it’s about having a voice. Most people don’t understand this, because they’re too self-involved to find there own (voice).
Thanks for the feedback.
Someone has too much time in their hands.
Very neat stuff. Its amazing what can be done with industrial adhesives.
Lame
Yeah this is really not that creative and also not all that attractive either. I think the concept needs to be thought about a lot more to discover how to take it further than just pouring shit on a bust (which is just kind of juvenile). find a way to make the face explode or smear off and appear suspended in air, that would be interesting
Maybe it’s not that the art is lame or that you could do better… maybe, you just don’t understand it all the way.
Also… no one is stopping you from doing better. Go ahead. Prove it.
I think they’re really interesting, and a couple are really eye-catching. I’m kinda shocked to read comments here suggesting that art is objective when it’s clearly subjective.
