A Futuristic Animated Film

“Please Say Something” is a futuristic film about a troubled relationship between a cat and mouse. It is written, directed and produced by David OReilly, sound design and voice synthesis by David Kamp, sound design and music by Bram Meindersma, and distributed by Future Shorts. The movie received a Gold Bear for best short film at the 2009 Berlinale, among other awards and mentions. The story is well told, and the transitional sequences are quite innovative and futuristic–reminding me of “Blade Runner” (1982), especially the taxi/city scene.
